+++ Start of the application phase on January 15 +++
As a volunteer you either help in a certain period before or after the festival or you help at the festival. During the set-up you help us in a certain period of time (see form), during the festival you take over two 7-hour shifts and in return you get your festival ticket from us. Please apply using the form below and we will get back to you, usually within 14 days of receiving your application.
We need help at the Skalar Festival in the following areas:
- Set-up/dismantling (different periods, see form)
- bar
- Info-Point / Lost&Found / Volunteer Base
- Eco Crew
- Check In
- Stewards
- Gastrolager (Runner & Pfandbuster)
- Awareness
- Crew Catering
Important: All set-up helpers who help us in one of the periods before 05.06. must leave the festival area after their shift and can arrive again with all other guests from 06.06. from 4 pm.
During set-up and dismantling you will be fully catered by us, during the festival you have to take care of your own catering (water will be provided by us). If you help us for a whole week before the festival, you will also receive a small feel-good package for the festival in the form of 2 food vouchers and a 30€ drinks voucher for our bars. Simply select one of the corresponding periods in the form.
To make sure you have your volunteer spot, we will ask you to transfer a deposit of €159 within 14 days of receiving confirmation from us. This will be refunded to you no later than four weeks after the festival, provided you have completed all your shifts.
If you have to cancel, you will be refunded
- 100% of your deposit back by 31.03.
- 50% of your deposit back by 09.05.
- if you cancel after 09.05. (without a certificate or a case of hardship) we will unfortunately have to retain the entire deposit.
